ORA-12154 with snapshot refresh

Hi,

my snapshots give error ORA-12154 'Could not resolve service name' every now and then. Usually they fail once or twice and next time refresh normally, but now I have one database with all refresh-jobs failing with this error until they get broken. I can run them with 'Run Now' from Replication Manager or SQLPlus but they still don't refresh automatically. This error has been open with Oracle since October 1997 so someone else had the same problem earlier but there is no solution. What I would like to know now is that how is it different whether refresh is done automatically or by executing from RM or SQLPlus ? Which is the operating system user and Oracle user with automatic refresh ?

I sure hope I don't have to recreate all snapshots...
