desparately need help configuring servlet port

I am trying to enable the Servlet Api on a web listener for Oracle Web Application Server 3.0.1.0.1 by setting the servlet port

This is the first time I have attempted to enable a servlet port (and I am not that knowledgeable about ports) and each time I enter a value (the notes at technet.oracle.com seemed to imply any value would do), I receive a "Dr Watson Access Violation" when restarting the listener

Once I reset the servlet port to null, the listener restarts fine

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
