Oracle Import 7.3.4 Table Size Estimation Challenge

Does anybody out there in the orange tinted world of Oracle have any rules of thumb for estimating the following:
Given a non-compressed import file is there any means for roughly gauging how big to allocate a data file required to accommodate the import. The size of the file itself is known, but nothing else. Thanks. Received on Thu Mar 04 1999 - 15:37:25 CST
