Problem installing 8.0.4 on AIX 4.1.5

Hello,

We're attempting to install 8.0.4 on AIX 4.1.5 from the cdrom. The installation appears to go fine most of the way, but ends during installaion of the RDBMS because it is not able to relink the executables. It looks as if all of the product files are there.

The error says to look in ..orainst/install.log for more info. The info in install.log is the same..it says look in install.log for more info. No objects are being created.

This is a default install on a box with plenty of room and nothing else running. Anyone have an idea why this is happening?
