Hi,

Anybody has experienced I/O problem with Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris 2.6? We have just installed Oracle 8.0.5, and using direct load/insert, and Oracle give I/O errors (actually it's Unix system call errors from Oracle. Error message like SVR4: 28 operation not supported etc.). It seems work fine with regular load/insert. We don't have this type of problems with 8.0.3, and I was told these are actually caused by Oracle bugs. We are trying to downgrade Oracle 8.0.5 to 8.0.3 because of this problem. Just wondering if anyone has similar experience. Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.
