What is your reasoning for combining two servers to one? Are both databases production databases? Also, what is your enviroment (hardware)?

Having multiple processors does not necessarily mean better performance. You can have bottlenecks on your controller. Also, if for any reason your server goes down, so will both of your databases.

An ideal situation is to have one server for one database. It will help you with Tuning and Backup/recovery problems.

Again, the above statments will all depend on what the business reasoning is.
