How Do I Enable Objects in 8.0.5?

I'm trying to create an object in my 8.0.5 Oracle db under NT 4.
The following lines:

create type myscalartype as object(f1 varchar(10), f2 int); /

cause "ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Objects"
I went back to the install CD and installed the Oracle8 Objects Option and then restarted my DB with no improvement.
How do I get objects to work? I've got the 30 day trial DB in case that makes a difference.
