I've installed several times Oracle(8.0.3.0.x) on Netware (4.1, 4.11, 5). There are my experiences :
1. Upgrade Netware server with latest patches (the most important CLIB.NLM) 2. Before instalation set to minimum numbers of cache buffers especially having less then 64 MB RAM.
3. Do NOT install ORACLE on volume with compresion or subalocation. Oracle doesn't recommend installation on such volume and server may abend in some circumstances.
4. The best way of installation is to run directly PINSTALL.NLM from \NETWARE\INSTALL directory on distribution media. Choose Custom installation and software only. After that manually create database with SVRMGR30.NLM 5.I had a lot of troubles with installation Oracle for Netware ver.

8.0.3.0.7. Some files and directories required for installation was
missing. The latest (and the best) version of Oracle for Netware is
8.0.3.0.8.

I have no trouble with installation.
