Does anybody know what are the descriptions of following two fields in v$rowcache:
USAGE and FIXED

In Oracle documenatation they say USAGE is "valid data in cache" and FIXED is "fixed data in cache", but don't say what kind of data it is.

They also give formula for calculating the row cache hit ratio it's
sum(gets-getmisses-usage-fixed)/sum(gets)

Could somebody explain this please?

Thank you
