Mike we debated using your solution however our experience has shown that using the clients system clock to determine the time zone showed us that users do not keep up with their clocks. Thus I may have to contact Oracle on this one. We develop mobile computing apps that allow wireless updates to Enterprise solutions and thus these updates need to be synchronized. Thanks again,
