Ok iv'e got a big problem:

I've an Oracle database and i made backups of it's files ... The database was installed in a directory C:\ORANT , and i got it here just like when it was running. The initialization was maded in D:\ORANT but all files of the database are in C:\ORANT. I've got to put it working. When i install Oracle 7.3.2., i try to substitute the sample database with MINE, and i try to put all the same as when it was working. I copy control files (ctc), initorc.ora file, pwd.ora file, all them... But the INSTANCE is not RUNNING !!!

Why ? If i connect via SVRMGR i can access the database, bu when i try to connect via SQLPLUS or another tool, i get SGA not initialized !!!!

Can u help me ??

Thankx
If you know how to help me mail me to jricardo_at_ipb.pt
