I agree with the earlier message .... if you have this much space left, it has to be that you've not enabled the automatic archiving. This means that now Oracle has written to all the available redo logs and has 'frozen' until you free one or more of them by archiving them. You can do this manually as dba .... think it's an option of alter database (if not it's alter system). Once you've done this enable automatic archiving.

The system admin manual describes how to see what's enabled already.
