There was a posting with simple (the level of simplicity is very vague when the encription is in question, though) encript/unencript PL/SQL package by "Chris Kempster" <c.kempster_at_cowan.edu.au> about a half a year ago. Look for subject "Can you encrypt a column value in Oracle?" in Dejanews.
