Hi Wayne,
This is Dharambir here.I'm a front end application developer(D2k) and
for the first time I have installed Oracle 8.0.4 on Windows Nt 4.0.
Now I need two databases-one for prduction and another for development.Should I
create two different databases on the same computer???
2)On trying to install the OEM I ran into a number of problems and the concept
is still not clear to me.I followed the installation manual guide and ended up
creating a user who owned the repository in the same database(trial) where my
application data is going to reside.I was trying to install OEM on the same
machine where my database server is installed. The way the word 'database' is
refered to in the guide is quite confusing.
Could you please throw some light on this. Thanks in advance.
