ADO is only an MS high level interface which is build upon the MS OLEDB spec. ADO can work with 'native' OLEDB providers or with ODBC drivers through the OLEDB/ODBC bridge. Oracle has nothing to do with the ADO spec but does supply an OLEDB provider on their website.
