Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> URGENT!!!!! CPU-IDLE-TIME=0!!!!!
Hi,
I have observed cpu-time=0 twice on my unix machine running ORACLE 7.3.2, dbshut/dbstart solves the problem, but i am not able to get to any conclusion.
The SNP0,SNP1,SNP2,SNP3 are eating away all CPU.(all user process are eating time, with small io and system process)
the oracle server (on unix) is in multi-master configuraton with 2 others(on NT), refresh interval is 1 minute, no of job_process=4, the shared memory is 40MB, job_queu_interval is 10 sec, the no of updates i think are not large.
in trace file, i observe ORA -12012 :error on autoexecute of job 2 (/* job2 is for refreshing to one of master sites*/) ORA-23324 :error ORA-04052 : error occured when looking for remote object SURROGATE.SYS_at_MGMT2.WORLD (/* where as all objects are there ) ORA-00604 : error occured at recursive SQL level 3 ORA-12203 : TNS:unable to connect to destination. (/* whereas links are active*/) ORA-12203:TN,while creating deferror entry at "MGMT2.world" with error -12203 (/* although there apperes no reason for that*/) ORA-06512: at 'SYS.DBMS_DEFER_SYS",line 585 ORA-06512: at line 1
thanks for any help.
