Yes, you can install the personal Oracle8.0.5 (which is 300 dollars) and work with Basic. It does not have the same features as the enterprise version of course (which is 5K dollars) but it will do the job. Try getting a 4.5 dollar trial version of the Oracle8 from www.oracle.com and see yourself if it really works - it works on my PC. Regards
