OWS 3.02 & Perl Cartridge

Anyone have experience using the perl cartridge with OWS 3.x?

One thing I'd like to do is to DISABLE the cartridge and have all .pl programs be interpreted by the Operating System's version of perl. Anyone know how to do this?

I'm getting wierd errors while trying to use the FILE UPLOAD feature with the multipart form mime type. I'm using examples of this type of code that use the CGI.pm and cgi-lib.pl modules. I can only deduce that it has something to do with the cartridge as I've seen many people's sites running this upload feature without these problems.

Any help or alternative to allow file uploads would be greatly appreciated...
