Hello all,

I'm presently leading the analysis for an application which data will be hosted in an Oracle V8 database.
This application deals with day to day ref prices, this means any problem will result (in real time if I may say) several K$ lost.
This is not really the kind of project we can take any risk Nevertheless, the object-relational approach could be very helpfull.

I do not know much about it today, but before to invest more time in testing it I first need your opinion on:

If you had to design a critical application, would take the risk of implementing V8 objects features?

-1- Do the objects type, table, view ..operate with the same level of safety and quality as standard tables, proc, triggers,...(or is it something like a 'marketing' feature).

Thanks
