Semaphore error.

Hello out there,

I am trying to install a second instance of oracle on a Sun 450/running SunOs 2.6.

I am running into an error :

ORA-07279: spcre: semget error, unable to get first semaphore set. ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

The oracle error guide tell me to make sure that I have enough semaphores. However, it does not tell me where to look for this value.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.
