I am not sure to be honest with you. I was asked for see if I could find out any information on Oracle8i which was explained as Oracle 8 Internet. I just assumed it was a product or extension of Oracle 8. I hope this helps answer your question....if not, I will get back up with the person who requested this and find out more into.
