Hi,

I am a DBA who worked with Sybase for 2 years and relatively new to Oracle.
I need to install Oracle on a Unix box and we lost the installation CD. While we are waiting to receive the FedEx from Oracle, I'd like to ask the DBA's out there:

Does anybody know how to copy the Oracle installation from one Unix box to another?

I've done it with Sybase many times, now it's time to try it with Oracle.

Thanks, Sergei Received on Thu Dec 03 1998 - 15:55:37 CST
