Re: cold backups

 I did restore the acct.pwd file created by the orapwd73 utility but this file "pwdorcl.ora" is not in sync with what the db is expecting, obviously security related and if restored the colds work fine. but my point is if this is a structure that is hidden and not documented as part of a backup stategy not listed in a
