Personal Oracle corruption

Please help.

I just re-started using Personal Oracle7 for a particular client and created a new database owner, created all the tables, views, etc. When I then run the PowerBuilder application against this database, create some data, it runs fine until I disconnect from the database and re-login and then get a <internal database error> ORA-600.

It looks like the control file is corrupted somehow.

When I was using a couple of months ago for another client I had no problems whatsoever. The only change I have made to the PC during the interval is install IE 4.01, Small Business Server client software, and PowerBuilder 6.5.

Has anybody else had this type of problem, or over some suggestions on how to fix/resolve/kill this problem?

TIA --
