A copy of this was sent to joneveland_at_aol.com (Joneveland) (if that email address didn't require changing) On 25 Nov 1998 04:33:01 GMT, you wrote:

disremembering....

I just tested on 7.3:

create or replace procedure test_parms(

p_1 in number,
p_2 in number,
p_3 in number,
p_4 in number,
p_5 in number,
p_6 in number,

.....
p_499 in number,
p_500 in number )
as
begin
null;
end;
/

It created with 500 inputs. Then I ran:

variable v_1 number
exec :v_1 := 1
variable v_2 number
exec :v_2 := 1
variable v_3 number
exec :v_3 := 1
variable v_4 number
exec :v_4 := 1
....
variable v_499 number
exec :v_499 := 1
variable v_500 number
exec :v_500 := 1

to setup 500 bind variables in sqplus... Then lastly I ran:

begin
test_parms(

:v_1 ,
:v_2 ,
:v_3 ,
:v_4 ,
:v_5 ,
:v_6 ,

...
:v_498 ,
:v_499 ,
:v_500  ) ;

end;
/

and it worked...
