I just tested on 7.3:
create or replace procedure test_parms(
p_1 in number, p_2 in number, p_3 in number, p_4 in number, p_5 in number, p_6 in number,
It created with 500 inputs. Then I ran:
variable v_1 number
exec :v_1 := 1
variable v_2 number
exec :v_2 := 1
variable v_3 number
exec :v_3 := 1
variable v_4 number
exec :v_4 := 1
....
variable v_499 number
exec :v_499 := 1
variable v_500 number
exec :v_500 := 1
to setup 500 bind variables in sqplus... Then lastly I ran:
begin
test_parms(
:v_1 , :v_2 , :v_3 , :v_4 , :v_5 , :v_6 ,
:v_498 , :v_499 , :v_500 ) ;
and it worked...
