Oracle 8.0.5 Server for Linux - install: too few arguments

Let me quote the Installation Instructions for the Early Adopter's Release:

....start the install program as follows:

    # cd /cdrom/orainst
    # install

....

What I get is:

install: two few arguments

[Don't worry. By the time I'm done, I'll have had plenty of arguments with this thing!]

install --help explains that it's looking for SOURCE and DEST parameters (among other possibilities). Any ideas what those probably should be? Received on Thu Nov 19 1998 - 01:48:51 CST
