We are a startup in New York looking for a New York based database expert with experience writing c/c++ interfaces under a unix/linux environment. Ideally you have experience with Sybase, and as a bonus Oracle. Experience working with Unix innards and internet protocols would also be helpful.

We are developing an exciting consumer oriented internet product. You must be able to start immediately. You would work on a project basis first, which might become a full time opportunity. We are NOT a web development shop. We are building network software and network devices.
