I was told by Oracle about three months ago that the Objects option was available only on the Enterprise version (i.e. not with Personal or Workgroup). I said we frequently developed Oracle applications on standalone machines, offsite, for clients with Enterprise licenses; how were we to continue working as we do and deliver applications for these clients that made use of objects? The answer I got was, basically, "sorry, you can't".
