Re: Online backup of tablespaces

It is certainly doable. The feasible part will be predicated upon how many changes are applied to the tablespaces while in backup mode. You generate considerably more (archived) redo in hot backup mode, so pick a time to backup these large tablespaces when their rate of change is low.
