ORDER BY record sequence

hi all,

I am stumped with this thing. I have a table where I enter say 10 records. I then need retrieve the records IN THE ORDER THEY WERE ENTERED. I tried ORDER BY ROWID but that didn't work.

Anyone got any clues? It seems elementary doesn't it?!
