Re: Datbase link doesn't work. Why?

As obscure as it first appears, it looks like sqlnet error not a db one. I have never seen this error for any other reason that the obvious one - although it often seems there must be one ! Some immediate ideas.

    is the domain name required ? (.world)     Is the kernel owner's $TNS_ADMIN pointing at the correct tnsnames.ora ?     I would expect a different error but a common one with db links is a mismatched dbname. Received on Tue Nov 03 1998 - 16:05:24 CST
