Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Will Personal Oracle install on Win98?
I was successful, however, I did receive a warning when running sqlplus
that it was not happy residing on WIN98, due to changes in the api's for
displaying data.
Try surface scan and a defrag...

To uninstall, use the oracle installer, remove all (it will leave the
installer program) delete the directory, and any files left. Finally,
run regedit - under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE highlight 'ORACLE' press
delete yes, and close regedit.
Reboot, and you are ready for a re-install.
