Upgrade 7.1 to 7.3: ORA-04094 Table is constraining

I have a trigger that complains about trying to modify a table that is constraining (by head: ORA-04094). Fair enough, the table *is* constraining indeed, according to my Oracle 7.3 (and 8) manuals. However, the very same database ran fine when it was still using 7.1! We checked the 7.1 version and all triggers and all constraints are valid and enabled, just like in the 7.3 version.

Any idea? Or: does anyone know where I can find the changes from 7.1 to 7.3?
