Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> OCI Error 1006 - Please Help....
Hi All.
I very new to Oracle, and (I've heard that unfortunately) I am dealing with a problem with Oracle OCI.
I am running Oracle 8.0.4 on HP-UX 11.00. I am calling version 7 OCI calls (orlon, oparse, obndra, etc) which are encapsulated in a C shared library, and they are being called from COBOL Tuxedo Services.
My question is whether anyone out there has ever seen the ORA 1006 error - "Bind variable does not exist". I am getting this error when I make a call to the obndra API.
I have checked a million times at least :), and I am certain that I am calling it correctly, has anyone out there ever seen a bug with this call on this platform?
Also, if you have had experience with this error, could you please share the problem and the solution with me please, I really am desperate about this one.
Thanks in advance,
Tony.
