Here are 2 books:
B1. Rick Greenwald, Special Edition Using Oracle Web Application Server 3, Que B2. Robert Papaj, Donald Burleson, Oracle Databases on the Web, Coriolis Group Books

B2 has a better section on installing and configuring DAD's since it includes screen shots. B1 is more in depth about the architecture and advanced topics like writing and configuring your cartrdiges. It covers OWAS3.0 for Solaris 2.4 specifically.
