Backup time.

Dear all,

Now I am preparing a capacity planning document and have to estimate the worst and average backup time under different backup strategy. E.g. export from database to disk and to tape (raw device), or directly to tape (file system). Is there any formula I can use to do so? Or is there any recommended backup period per each M/G? Thanks a lot.
