Context on WinNT, external textfiles not found

Hi all,

in our place the Context Cartridge (NT4.0 SP3) works all very fine with direct data storage and with local osfiles. Yet we did not succeed in indexing any policy that uses OSFILE or URL preference with pointers to network hosted files. We tried to access connected network drives, UNC notation (\\HOST\PATH\) as well as http: and file: protocol. And we tried using the PATH attribute of the OSFILE tile as well as putting the complete path into the index column.

Indexing produced invariably a report of '0 selected, 0 processed'.

Does anybody successfull indexing on network files under Windows NT? Any help and suggestions warmly appreciated,
