Version Incompatible

Hi,

I have been used Oracle (7.3.?, trial version for Win 95) for couple of days and when I was trying to create a database I got a message

"Create database failed. Incompatible version of Control file." or something like this I can't remember exactly . So, I tried to create a control file from exist database but I was unable
because I don't know how to do it exactly. After several attempts, became impossible to start a database.

any help are welcome
