As I know it from ORACLE web site, http://www.oracle.com/rdb, Oracle Rdb is the product purchased from DEC by ORACLE Corp. in 1994. And it is used on VMS OS or NT/alpha machine. What I really want to know is Rdb and Oracle DBMS are totally different databas engines. If it is true ORACLE DBA has to learn Rdb from new commands to administrate Rdb in addition to VMS knowledge ? If there is someone who knows well about that please answer my questions. Received on Thu Jun 25 1998 - 04:48:18 CDT
