Oracle8, Delphi 3 and Windows NT

Hi,
we have a big problem with oracle 8 and the BDE of Delphi. The connection from client to server works fine when I connect over the workstation per sql* plus. But with the BDE nothing works. I can see my tables with the select * order but not with the button 'data'. The error message is ' to less memory' but it doesn't make sense. Also, the programs using BDE don't work anymore, although they worked perfectly under Oracle 7.3..... I 'm going out of ideas what to do what we haven't done till now. Has anybody an idea? Maybe these are known problems with Oracle 8. (We have installed the ORA804.DLL, Net Protocol = TNS and defined an alias with the Net easy configuration) I would be very grateful for any help.
