The media for the Oracle8 client (for Windows NT and Windows 95), Personal Oracle8, and the Oracle8 Server (and Enterprise Edition) include an ODBC driver for Oracle8. But this Oracle-supplied ODBC driver is only for Windows NT or Windows 95 platforms.
Oracle does not provide for free nor sell an Oracle8 ODBC driver for any platform other than Windows 95 or Windows NT.
One vendor (among many) that makes an Oracle8 ODBC driver for IBM AIX is INTERSOLV. Check out:
