All of the Oracle books I have state that you need to create a
non-system rollback segment before you can create new tablespaces.



However I can always do a "CREATE TABLESPACE XYZ" _immediately_ after
the CREATE DATABASE command is finished.  The oldest version that I
tried this with was 7.1 and it worked.  Of course, I _do_ create
non-system rollbacks for normal setups but I don't need to make them
before making new tablespaces.



Are these books wrong?  Were they applicable to Oracle 6.x and didn't
get edited out of the new versions?
