Oracle8 for SCO : Does it use shared libs - am going to put on Linux

The scenario:
I've been happily running SCO-Oracle 7.1 and 7.3 since 1995 - but on my Linux Box.
(2 databases, 8 sessions in 486/32 Mb RAM while running X as well - suck that NT)
It worked because everything was statically linked and did not make any calls to SCO-specific
shared libraries that differed from the Linux ones. I'm getting SCO Oracle 8 soon, and am wondering if anyone knows if IT uses shared libraries ?
If it does, I'm gonna have a potential headache. Has anyone else got SCO Oracle 8 to work
on Linux. I know lots of us have done it fine with V7.x.
