Greetings! I'm trying to install Personal Oracle 8.0.3.0.0 on my Windows 95 laptop. It crashes during the installation when it's "analyzing TCP/IP dependencies". I tried removing the TCP/IP network drivers from the Network section in Control Panel, and when I retried the installation it crashed when it was "analyzing Named Pipes dependencies". I think I'm on to something, but I'm not sure what! Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated!

P.S. - I sent a message to Oracle on their website, but haven't heard from them - anyone have any luck communicating with them this way?? Received on Tue Jun 16 1998 - 08:15:55 CDT
