Exporting data

Our DBA has left, and I need to do a full export of data on both of our HP Unix box and NT box. We are currently using Oralce 7.3.

Could you please provide me with the steps to do this both for HP UX, and NT.

When I do the export on the HP UX box, can I direct the output to a file on my PC?
Do I need to actually need to go to the HP UX box to do this, or can I do the export from my PC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
