hi,
I am running an application gateway system in the solaris operating system. It is basically a server system with more than 7 process.I am using the oracle as the database here. Every process can access the database independently. Sometime all the process or some the process is receiving the request from the clients and start processing. During the processing there are some database calls are used through Pro C interface for select, insert, update operations. At some time when one of these process is calling a database function,it stops there itself. And all other process is also comes to stop when they call the next Database call in their path.Whether is it a kind of deadlock or some thing else. What kind of tuning needs to be done to avoids the problem. It happens for every 4 days.
The same system is working properly in Hp Ux. Please help me out to resolve it.
Thx
Jai
