Replication of BLOB fields??

Hi. I am wanting to replicate some tables on another Workgroup server which include spatial information stored in BLOBS (using ESRI SDE). Timing doesnt need to be critical - snapshot would be fine. Can the BLOBs be replicated in this manner? Can a master on WGS do this to another WGS or do I need Enterprise on the master copy? Experience please.
