viewing SQL TRACE stats

Im looking for a tool  which would give me the SQL TRACE statistics
without using tkprof and going to the server end. ATUTOTRACE does the
trick for SQL PLUS but it does not show the row count for each execution
step. Any ideas.  Are their any *FREE* GUI tools used for optimization.
What about TOAD?
