Looking for WorkFlow Engine with Oracle

I'm looking for information on how to have a workflow engine in Oracle to develop an application. A solution which is well integrated with D-2000 would be perfect. Oracle 7 or 8.

I know a little about Oracle WorkFlow Cartridge, unfortunately, I was not able to find any accurate information on Oracle's Web site (any white paper ?).

Do you know where I could find such information on the WorkFlow Cartridge ?

Do you know any alternate solution (from other companies) ?
