I am running an Oracle 7.3.3 database in NON-ARCHICELOG mode. Now
I am trying to drop a data file from a tablespace. I used command
"alter database datafile file_name offline drop". The command ran
fine, no error message, but when I check system view v$datafile or
dba_data_files. The data file was still there. Has anybody done this
before? Thanks.
